4 members of Boston Gymnastics Academy travelled to Spalding to compete in The Floor and Vault Competition.

This event was contested with other clubs from around Lincolnshire, with the best scores resulting in becoming a member of the Lincolnshire team at the Regional Floor and Vault championships in April.

In the 8 & 9yrs category Tallulah Hughes finished 1st with a score of 22.33 and Amelia South 2nd with a score of 22.16.

In the 10 years category Lyle Burrell-Kenny came 2nd with score of 22.20 and Eden Gardner finished 4th scoring 21.93

The results meant that Tallulah and Amelia have qualified to represent Lincolnshire in the 8 & 9yrs Team and Lyle is Reserve in the 10 years Team. This is an amazing achievement for the girls and their coaches.

2016 has seen a great start to the gymnastics competition season.

BGA club took 8 Gymnasts to compete in the Tumbling Prelims at New College Leicester.

Results as follows :

National 1 girls aged 9/10yrs - Eden Gardner finished 4th, Lyle Burrell-Kenny came 9th, Tallulah Hughes 11th and Amelia South came 14th.

National 2 girls aged 11/12 yrs - Trinity Scott finished 4th

National 2 girls aged 13+ yrs - Katie Marie Parker finished 18th

National 3 girls aged 11/12 yrs - Ruby-Mae Hardstaff came 1st

National 4 girls aged 13+ yrs - Tegan Rogers finished 2nd.

Following these amazing results, 2 of the girls Tegan and Ruby-Mae have qualified for the Semi finals in Birmingham in May 2016. A great result for the club.
